Manhattan Review Services in Doha
Acceptance to universities in which the language of instruction is English generally requires high scores on standardized tests such as the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, SAT, or TOEFL. Manhattan Review is an American test prep company that offers effective services in Doha for all of these tests. Local students can choose either on-site prep classes, online prep classes, or private one-on-one tutoring, and we also provide admissions consulting and practice tests. Cultural attractions such as the Doha Film Institute, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Arab Museum of Modern Art make Doha one of the cultural capitals of the Arab world. The city has also hosted the 2006 Asian Games, the 2011 Pan Arab Games, and the 2011 AFC Asian Cup, and it will be the site of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. I took the GMAT weekend course last year in August in Zurich (it was the weekend of those terrific floods in Switzerland...), and I remember the instructor telling us to let you know how I did. Sorry it took so long! I got a 680, which was good for 90th percentile, and it got me an 80% scholarship at the school that was my first choice. Thanks so much for the assistance. Meet a Doha Tutor: Jamal B.
Jamal B. is an American whose parents are originally from Qatar. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a bachelor's degree in regional and comparative studies and a master's degree in history. He has been a GRE and TOEFL tutor for Manhattan Review since 2008, teaching for us in Washington, New York, and Doha. He has also taught history at the high school level, and served as a graduate teaching assistant at UNC.
Jamal's students have been accepted to Princeton, Brown, the University of London, Yale, and other selective schools. He has taught prospective undergraduate and graduate students from at least 20 different countries how to receive high scores on the GRE and TOEFL, and he has taught students from numerous different academic backgrounds. In his spare time, he is an accomplished amateur oud player, and he also enjoys participating in a variety of sports, including basketball, football, and tennis.
